About This Park
The Highlands Bike Park is the lift-served downhill mountain bike park at The Highlands, the Boyne-owned resort in Harbor Springs, and the only chairlift-served bike park in Michigan. A high-speed chairlift and designated uphill routes serve 19 lift-served trails rated green through double black across 22 miles of riding, mixing machine-built freeride lines with berms, tabletops, bridges, wallrides, and drops alongside hand-built technical trails and cross-country routes on the resort property. The park operates from late May through mid-October, daily in summer and weekend-focused in fall. The Day Lodge rental shop rents downhill bikes and full-face helmets and performs free safety inspections, and a bike patrol staffs all operating hours.
