About This Park
Columbia Skate Park, listed locally as Cosmo Skate Park, is a nationally known 28,000-square-foot concrete street course at the north end of 533-acre Cosmo Park on Business Loop 70 West. Columbia Parks and Recreation designed and built the 1999 facility in-house with youth input as a skateboard-only, unsupervised, free public park open year-round from 7 a.m. to dusk. Bicycles are prohibited by city policy. The course draws traveling skaters visiting the Show-Me State Games hub beside Antimi fields and Steinberg Playground.
