About This Park
Munising Mountain Bike Park sits on a hillside at the west end of Munising along M-28, developed by the volunteer-run Munising Bay Trail Network. A 1.5-mile ADA-accessible Gateway Loop climbs from the trailhead to a cluster of purpose-built features: the Superior Air jump trail with 21 rollers and 12 tabletop jumps, the rock-armored Rock On trail with gap jumps and wooden roll-downs, the Da Play Zone skills loop with wooden bridges, a teeter-totter, and log rides, the Pump U.P. da Jam pump track, and the Zach's Zip drop trail. The Munising Bay Loop circles the park, and the one-mile Flow & Steady downhill flow trail returns riders to the trailhead, which has parking, a bike repair station, a picnic area, and a pit toilet.
